Assessing your current ability
For those who have previously studied Chinese, you can assess your written ability with an online test, and we can help you assess your spoken ability with a short one-on-one conversation with a teacher. We will then place you in an appropriate level.
Written placement test
30+ correct answers – Currently your Chinese level is beyond introduced level.
15-30 correct answers – Currently, you need an enhancement of your Chinese learning and to start from middle or so of this level.
0-15 correct answers – Please start from beginning of this level.
