

There are six levels to learn Chinese at Frontiers.
Level 1
Vocabulary: 300-500
Studying Material will be based on daily life, which can assist you in dealing with general requests. For example: ordering food and drinks in restaurants, giving directions to a taxi driver, telling Chinese number and time, greeting, etc.
Level 2
Vocabulary: 500-800
Material for level 2 not only relates to level 1 content, which enables students to make reservations with hotels and restaurants, but also helps them express feeling about something, likes or dislikes, learning more basic Chinese grammars and structures.
Level 3
Vocabulary: 800-1500
students will master a vocabulary of 800 to 1500 including: hobbies and leisure activities, communicating with Chinese friends in a friendly and more meaningful way and also to exchange information with others by expressing individual views and opinions.
Level 4
Vocabulary: 1500-2500
students will be able to give considered statements and advice on current affairs in Chinese, and also make comparison of different social circumstances.
Level 5
Vocabulary: 2500-3500
Vocabulary skills will revolve around cultural issues; Students can talk about diverse aspects of culture and express feelings and viewpoints in an authoritative manner.
Level 6
Vocabulary: Above 3500
Students will be able to communicate with Chinese people in great details, deal with ideological issues and can also participate in interactions which are totally in Chinese.
